My Background
Linda’s creative journey began over forty years ago when a pastel portrait she created earned her a state award. From that moment on, painting became her passion. Devoting herself first as a student, and later as a teacher, Linda mastered an array of mediums including acrylics, watercolors, pastels, inks, and oils.
TEACHER/DESIGNER
Teaching and designing were the natural progression for Linda, and in the years that followed she earned a reputation as a skillful designer and an enthusiastic instructor.
AFFILIATIONS
Successfully creating and publishing her own designs has enabled Linda to become a member of the premier trade association for global creative arts, the National Art Materials Trade Association (NAMTA). In addition, after one hundred hours of teaching and a peer reviewed video submission, Linda has earned the certification Teacher of Decorative Art (TDA).
Linda has been invited to teach both internationally and at many regional conventions including New England Traditions (NET) and OKC Painting Palooza. Always with an eye on reaching just one more aspiring painter, Linda has expanded her teaching portfolio to include on-line classes and conventions, including ArtWaves Coast to Coast. Her designs appear on the pages of our industry's best publications.
Linda is a spokesperson for several major companies and a proud member of the DecoArtist program. Linda is also a Dynasty Brush Specialist and ChartPak.
